Reading Tree Programs
Unlike other area educational agencies, The Reading Tree is privately owned and managed, allowing us to focus solely on our instructional quality and parental communication. Since 1976, we have been helping students of all ages address:
- ACT and SAT standardized test preparation
- High school entrance exam preparation
- Math (elementary through high school)
- Phonics and Reading
- Reading comprehension and fluency
- Study Skills
- Subject Area Tutoring
- and much more!
Why choose The Reading Tree for ACT Preparation? Our program works because we address critical factors that maximize student involvement – the single most important variable in promoting high scores. We typically see a 3 to 4 point increase in scores after completion of our program. Many of our former students have been awarded scholarship money and entrance into the college of their choice.
Why choose The Reading Tree for SAT Preparation? Many Reading Tree students have had great success on the SAT exam after completing our course. Our average increase in scores is 100 points. Our program works because we address critical factors that maximize student involvement – the single most important variable in promoting high scores. We use a variety of tools to help students learn the content and strategies to be successful on the SAT.
Since 1976, our preparation course has worked for hundreds of students who expressed desire to enter private or parochial schools. We incorporate testing strategies along with content review to ensure students are fully prepared for their exams. We have had numerous students accepted into highly selective schools such as Benet Academy, St. Ignatius College Prep., and Marmion Academy as well as receive scholarships to attend St. Francis High School after completing our program.
Benefits of Reading Tree’s one-on-one tutoring are we work on exactly the areas your student needs to focus on and you only pay for what you use. We do not sell you “packages” of hours.
Many students struggle with reading and preparing for tests. Students will have the opportunity to practice using novels and text books. If a student has a book to read for the next school year, we can incorporate it into the program to give the student a jump start on the new school year.
